Four Rivers Behavioral Health is a private, not-for-profit agency providing comprehensive, integrated mental health, substance abuse and developmental disability services to promote the health and quality of life for consumers in Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Marshall, and McCracken counties. Any individual in need is eligible to receive services without regard to race, religion, disability, national origin, or gender.

Adult Services

Four Rivers Behavioral Health's Center for Adult services provides outpatient therapy tailored to meet individual needs.

The Center for Specialized Children's Services is committed to providing quality behavioral health care services to children and their families. Four Rivers Behavioral Health is working to make quality care as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. The Center for Specialized Children's Services has several different approaches to care. Each approach is clinically proven and is individually designed.

The Medical Services Center employs board-certified psychiatrists and Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners who provide medication management to both adults and children in collaboration with their therapy.

Four Rivers Behavioral Health offers a variety of substance abuse programs for both Adults and adolescents. The Center for Specialized Addiction Services also provides outpatient care for those with a substance abuse problem. Services can include individual or group therapy as well as a comprehensive assessment before treatment begins to determine the services that would be most beneficial.Four Rivers Behavioral Health programs are billable to most insurance companies. We will work with your insurance provider to determine what services are covered.

Four Rivers Behavioral Health's Testing and Assessment Center performs comprehensive psychological evaluations of cognitive functioning, academic achievement, development, personality, behavior, and executive functioning. We work with toddlers, children, adolescents and adults to assess problems related to the following:

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders
Autism Spectrum Disorders
Developmental Delays
Mood Disorders
Anxiety Disorders
Co-occuring Disorders

Four Rivers Behavioral Health's Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities Services, provides a variety of assistance programs to adults and young adults. Consumers receive individualized treatment based on an initial assessment and participant-specific goals.

Four Rivers Behavioral Health's Community Support Services is designed to offer support to clients with serious mental illness and help them identify and access services that empowers them, enhances their quality of life, and enables independence.

The Regional Prevention Center provides prevention and education services as well as providing resources for Four Rivers Behavioral Health staff and for the nine counties we serve. The RPC provides information and advice on effective prevention programs and strategies and how to tailor them to individual situations. The RPC provides multifaceted prevention and intervention programs targeting specific needs related to alcohol, tobacco and other drug (ATOD) behavior and choices for youth and their parents.
